A. To recruit, train and sponsor Missionaries who will preach the Word and finally effect their environment and the whole world with the Gospel. B. To make genuine converts, disciple them to live in the light of the Word and finally hand them over Bible believing, practicing churches around. C. To network with Pastors and Minister of the Gospel and influence them to live by the Word that will effect their congregation

Vision

Our vision is in three-fold: 1.. Creating a wholistic awareness of God's kingdom and populating it. 2. Carrying out mission power-packed outreaches/crusades in towns and villages. 3. Showing life of righteousness and hence presenting exemplary behaviour that imitates Christ.

Our Name

LOHEM is an acronym of Light on the Hill Evangelical Mission and was based on the scriptural verse: Matthew 5:14, "You are the light of the wod. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid." Thus, this name was revealed by God to the President and implies that members of LOHEM and indeed all Christians are expected to be the light of the world, while "set on an hill' points to the miracles, signs and wonders that follow us while being involved in Evangelism as reflected in Mark 16:20.

OUR BACKGROUND

With God's mandate, LOHEM was founded by the President, Evang. Dr. Joy Agbazue, on 29th September 2000. LOHEM is a non-profit making, international, interdenominational Ministry charged with preaching the Gospel to win souls for Christ and impressing the converts with teachings on righteousness that are focused on their gaining eternity in Heaven. In her involvement with global evangelization and mission, LOHEM fulfils her mandate by Networking with Pastors, Churches and Mission Agencies.
